That it takes the aliens to find a way to communicate - through games and then Ender's dreams - shows that we're the ones who often fail to bend. The later books teach this same lesson with "us" learning quicker, but still botching the job. First time was the charm for me.CheekierMeSlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12142260712230852504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29489868.post-69930153148299302682007-08-18T14:19:00.000-04:002007-08-18T14:19:00.000-04:00This is exactly what I was saying last week. Books 2-4 are the only ones that give us hope on the larger scale. The other ones are self serving to the characters we grew to love.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29489868.post-52598602055720959582007-08-17T21:50:00.000-04:002007-08-17T21:50:00.000-04:00I liked the whole series, but I'd not pick the 3rd...I liked the whole series, but I'd not pick the 3rd as the best. There were parts of each to dig. *Lurved* when Jane became real! And I liked the first Bean book too.CheekierMeSlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12142260712230852504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29489868.post-45353510279198951912007-08-17T21:28:00.000-04:002007-08-17T21:28:00.000-04:00Ender's Game is the apogee in that series. :-)Xeno...Ender's Game is the apogee in that series. :-)

Xenocide?
